On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dun Mikiel Azzopardi - the Founder of "Id-Dar tal-Providenza", MaltaPost p.l.c. issued a special hand postmark “Dun Mikiel Azzopardi - mitt sena mit-twelid tiegħu”. This special hand postmark was used on Wednesday 10th February 2010 at ‘Id-Dar tal-Providenza’, Triq Ghar Lapsi, Siggiewi.
