The islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino are situated in the Mediterranean sea, just 60 miles to the south of the Italian island of Sicily. Tiny Malta in the heart of the Mediterranean has often been described as a melting pot of civilisations. At the crossroads of maritime routes, the Maltese islands have been a home, stronghold, trading post and refuge, with a history spanning over 7,000 years.
Temple builders, seafaring Phoenicians, the traveller Apostle Paul, the Knights of St John, Napoleon and British royalty - all have left their footprints here. By way of introduction, our Philatelic Bureau offers a complete service to philatelists. Collectors of Malta stamps will be receiving the very best of Malta’s culture, art, history, flora and fauna. Our stamps are miniature works of art, and are much sought after by collectors worldwide.
