Foreign mail that is posted before 1900hrs between Monday and Friday and 1500hrs on Saturday in the Maltese Islands is collected, processed and dispatched to destination (loading on aircraft) on the following working day for any EU country, Australia, Canada, USA, Brazil, Israel, Japan, Ukraine, Iceland, Switzerland and New Zealand and following 3 working days for all other countries.

For Financial Year 2010 (October 2009 – September 2010) the MCA set standard for EU countries, Australia, Canada and USA is J+1 93%, whereas for all other countries the MCA set standard is J+3 99%.
