I.T. Support Administrator
A vacancy has arisen for the post of a full-time I.T. Support Administrator to carry duties within the Company's I.T. Department.
The job holder will carry out the below responsibilities, but not only:
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction;
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure business continuity at all times;
- Install and configure computer hardware, software systems, printers and scanners;
- Pinpoint and define new process improvement opportunities;
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support;
- Liaise with various suppliers of applications and systems (including foreign suppliers);
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
As a minimum, candidates shall:
- Hold an MQF Level 4 qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (This is equivalent to the MCAST Advanced Diploma);
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience;
- Be meticulous with great attention to detail; display critical thinking skills, be proactive and hands-on/practical in dealing with problems and their resolution;
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills, in both Maltese and English;
- Be team players and flexible in their approach;
- Be in possession of a clean driving licence.
