Marketing Official

A vacancy has arisen for the post of a full-time Marketing Official to carry duties within the Company's Marketing and Communications Section. The role reports to the Creative Design Officer. The successful candidate will be expected to drive performance and growth with responsibility for marketing strategy and communication plans of the company.

The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the:
• Assisting in the creation, implementation and management of marketing campaigns and activities
• Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies and prepare reports
• Monitoring and forecasting marketing and sales trends
• Gathering and analysing data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions
• Converting data and findings into presentations including tables, graphs, and written reports
• Developing and evaluating methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls
• Preparing reports and presenting results to management, staff and clients accordingly.

Those chosen candidate shall have:
• A qualification in marketing;
• Good working and technical knowledge of social media platforms and tools;
• The ability to create effective marketing and communication content;
• Knowledge and application of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts;
• A proactive and professional approach and the ability to work on own initiative;
• Strong organisational skills;
• A ‘can-do' attitude and an ability to work both independently and within a team;
• A clean disciplinary record.

Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.

The working hours will be Monday to Friday 7:30 to 16:00. The grade at which this vacancy will be pegged will vary according to the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
