Eleven Excellence awards were presented to MaltaPost staff members in recognition for their hard work and outstanding performance in 2015 during the Company's Annual Staff meeting.
In his address MaltaPost's Chairman Joseph Said presented the 2015 financial and quality results. He also highlighted the Company's commitment to enhance its services to facilitate e-commerce business and further its diversification strategy so as to counteract the effects of an ever changing postal market.
The awards were presented by Mr Said together with MaltaPost's Chief Executive Officer Joseph Gafa' who congratulated the winners whilst thanking all the Company's staff for their hard work throughout 2015.
A remarkable achievement award was presented to the Human Resources Department in recognition to having MaltaPost recognised as a Certified Gender Equal Opportunities Employer through the award of the Equality Mark by the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality. The Equality Mark is awarded to organisations that make gender equality one of their values and whose management is based on the recognition and promotion of the potential of all employees irrespective of their gender and caring responsibilities.
The Document Management Services Section was also awarded with a remarkable achievement awarding recognition of operating a Quality Management System comprising of the scanning, storage and archiving of physical and electronic data, shredding services, hybrid mail and ancillary services which comply with the worldrenowned certification - MSA EN ISO 9001:2008.
