MaltaPost announces winners for its University Freshers’ Week Competition 2014

MaltaPost is glad to announce the winners of its student competition held during the University of Malta Freshers' Week 2014.

The lucky winners are Yanika Stafrace, Dylan Camilleri, Bernice Camilleri, Naomi Brincat, Hannah Flynn, Vanessa Vella and Nicole Sammut. Ms Stafrace won the HP ElitePad 900 which was kindly presented to her by Kinetix. Mr Camilleri was awarded a €100 SendOn voucher and the rest won a €10 SendOn voucher.

The gifts were awarded during an event which was held at the Post Office on Campus. The competition was organised in conjunction with a print/copy promotion offered solely at the Post Office at the University of Malta Campus during the 2014 academic year. For the second consecutive year, MaltaPost invited students to sign up to the MaltaPost Campus Club to benefit from a beneficial rate of 3c per copy or print from the Post Office on Campus. Registrants automatically also signed up to MaltaPost's forwarding service - SendOn.

"The Post Office is conveniently located on Campus and seeks to offer a vast range of services apart from the traditional postal services one is accustomed to receiving at a Post Office" said MaltaPost's Chief Commercial Officer Daniel Grech. "We have also encouraged students to register with SendOn, MaltaPost's UK forwarding service, which offers a delivery service particularly with those online shops within the European Union which do not ship to Malta. This is of particular interest to them as many students and youngsters are amongst the most active online shoppers" he concluded.
