SEPAC stamp issue – ‘Artworks in the National Collection’

On 8th June 2020 MaltaPost will be participating in a forthcoming philatelic stamp issue by SEPAC, the Small European Postal Administration Cooperation, themed ‘Artworks in the National Collecation'.

The MaltaPost issue features a pair of stamps depicting artworks by Edward Caruana Dingli - one of Malta's foremost painters of the early 20th century. The original paintings are exhibited at MUŻA, the National Community Art Museum of Malta.

The stamps are printed in sheets of 10 stamps, with each stamp measuring 44mm x 31mm, with a comb perforation of 14.0 x 13.9 and bearing the Maltese Cross watermark. The sheets measure 185mm x 114mm and were produced by Printex Ltd in the offset process. The issue consists of 500,000 of the €0.30 stamp and 100,000 of the €0.50 stamp.

This philatelic issue will be available from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo as from Monday 8th June 2020.
