MaltaPost awards staff members for Excellence in 2014

Eleven Excellence awards were presented to MaltaPost staff members in recognition for their commitment to quality during the Company's annual ceremony.

In his address MaltaPost's Chairman Joseph Said gave a review of the financial and quality results the company achived during 2014. He also highlighted the Company's commitment to focus investment in infrastructure, operations and processes so as to facilitate e-commerce and provide a high level of customer service.

The awards were presented by Mr Said together with MaltaPost's Chief Executive Officer Joseph Gafa' who congratulated the winners whilst thanking all the Company's staff for their hard work throughout 2014, which was another positive year for the Company in spite of the challenges that the postal sector continues to face. "Successfully addressing challenges as complex as those we are currently experiencing, requires innovation and a complete focus on our customers. There is no doubt that these qualities
characterise the very being of our committed management team which, together with our dedicated staff members, has achieved another set of positive results" Mr Gafa' said.

MaltaPost is also the winner of the Best Express Courier of the Year Award category of the 2014 TransLog Awards.
