I.T. Support Administrator

A vacancy has arisen for the post of a full-time I.T. Support Administrator to carry duties within the Company's I.T. Department.

The job holder will carry out the below responsibilities, but not only:

  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction;
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure business continuity at all times;
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software systems, printers and scanners;
  • Pinpoint and define new process improvement opportunities;
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support;
  • Liaise with various suppliers of applications and systems (including foreign suppliers); 
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.

As a minimum, candidates shall:

  • Hold an MQF Level 4 qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (This is equivalent to the MCAST Advanced Diploma); 
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience;
  • Be meticulous with great attention to detail; display critical thinking skills, be proactive and hands-on/practical in dealing with problems and their resolution;
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills, in both Maltese and English;
  • Be team players and flexible in their approach;
  • Be in possession of a clean driving licence.
